Georgetown is a Blue Billy Folk Pop band from Pretoria, South Africa, known for their rich storytelling and multi-instrumental magic. Since 2014, Michael de Villiers, Renaldo van Dyk, Rynier Prins, and Tiaan Erasmus have brought their unique sound to stages across the country.
Blending classic folk with local influences, their music features everything from guitars and mandolins to saxophones, harmonicas, washboards — and even a vintage 1935 suitcase! Their debut EP Banana Jack (2016) and full-length album The Dog Show (2018) showcase their creative and soulful approach to contemporary folk.
