Expect: cackles, jump-scares, mystery treasure, spooky smirks and wicked grins, potion-stocked bar, a menu to raise the spirits, sensibly priced reserved tables (no seances please), hotel rooms for the creatures of the night… and zero photos. That’s right- no evidence, no alibis needed.

The Troyeville Hotel is haunted and needs your mortal coil to keep it lively. Join us for a Halloween like no other: killer tunes, fang-tastic food, staff so friendly it’s scary, REAL ghosts above the dancefloor and a revamped rooftop that laughs in the face of weather—fully undercover, wind-proofed, wrapped in heaters, and mist-cooled for when things get hot. (Yes, we exorcised the back door.)

Costumes ESSENTIAL or be banished to the face-painting corner. Grab a table. Dance till you’re whisked away… or banished by broom.

ABOUT THE VENUE: The renovated Troyeville Hotel offers great Portuguese food, an incredible rooftop bar protected from the elements, amazing city views, golden sunsets as well as accommodation.

FOOD + DRINKS – Full bar until 2am. Delicious food menu available till 10pm.

PARKING – The Troyeville Hotel maintains security personnel stationed at both its front and back entrances. For your convenience, we recommend parking on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. Front entrance is perfect for Uber / Bolt / taxi drop-offs and pickups and is an official drop-off and pickup zone on all the apps.

ROOFTOP ACCESS – We have both stair and elevator access to the rooftop.

ROOFTOP VENUE – While we take pride in offering some of the most stunning Jozi skyline views, please note that this venue is outdoors. As the sun sets, temperatures may drop and, while we have heating, we advise you to bring something warm to ensure your comfort throughout the event.
